Staff: Money goes to pay staff persons who will devote energy and time to recruit and support a PE teacher, classroom or Principals.
Teacher Support. Teachers need training tools so they can motivate classrooms to do Walk-Run training, track their mileage, nutrition guidance, proper shoes for kids, et al
THE RUN A MILE PROJECT TOUR. We plan on leasing and adding a “wrap” to two Vans. Staff will hit the road in the Spring to spread the word on the healthy benefits of running the mile as part of PE or recess.
RUN A MILE DAYS. This is the final event for schools and RUN A MILE CLUBS (after school). We will provide completion certificate templates and pins for sponsored schools. This day is when all students will run the mile and seek the National Goal: break 15 minutes in a Mile.
