RUN and Roll the Mile

It is all about effort and determination. TEAM USA Paralympian and 2016 RIO Gold Medalist MEGAN BLUNK shows the kids at Harbor Heights Elementary in Gig Harbor Washington that through strong will and determination, they can achieve attainable goals.

The kids of Harbor Heights Elementary School in Gig Harbor, Washington are part of the large group of schools that are long-term participants in the RUN A MILE Days Campaign. These PE teacher and classroom teachers get it. They see the added benefits of having their students Run The Mile each Spring. Next step is getting the new focus of THE RUN A MILE PROJECT to have PE classes run the mile each week of the school year as part of a new commitment to increased fitness and activity.

Donate or Sponsor this school or one in your area. THE RUN A MILE PROJECT needs support to be able to promote the RUN A MILE Campaign and to provide incentives to the school’s that reward the effort and commitment by boys and girls in elementary and middle schools in towns, cities and communities across the U.S.
